Move and Do : Birth to Two is not your traditional storytime, as there is constant movement, dancing, and chatting encouraged during a play-based learning experience for our community's littlest learners.

Read nonfiction books related to animals, food, and being in the kitchen.

March: “The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A natural history of four meals” by Michael Pollan

Join a group of creative artists who leave traditional kitchen table art in the dust and have fun with color like never before. Some months, programs will be outside. Always: dress for mess.

March: Gold Slime

Join with fellow book lovers as they discuss “The Stars Are Fire" by Anita Shreve. New members are always welcome! Please register to reserve a copy of the book. Titles will alternate between fiction and non-fiction.

Visit the library with your family and join us in a step by step painting. Open to children in grades 4 and up and an accompanying adult. Each adult and child will paint their own canvas.

Exchange your favorite recipes and collect some new ones! Each month has a theme. The day of the program, bring your dish and a copy of your recipe to share. Try other dishes and return home with a  copy of each recipe.

If you are thinking of starting a backyard beehive or just curious about what's involved in keeping bees, this program is for you! Presented by the Michiana Bee Keepers. 

Join the Heritage Collection Staff as they read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Books are available for check out at the circulation desk at the Library. This group meets at the Nappanee Center.
