Event Details

Election cakes were very popular in colonial times. It was a tradition that women would bake this cake to get voters to the polls and vote. After voting, each person would receive a slice of election cake. It fell out of favor over the years but has became popular again! 

Want to make your own Election Cake? You can! Bake an Election Cake and bring it in for a chance to win our baking contest!

Registration and drop off is from 1:30-2:00 PM with judging starting at 2:10. First place prize awarded. 

After judging, sampling will take place. There are so many variations you may just have a chance to try them all!
